powerHouse Books and Hartman/Klein Productions proudly present the next installment of powerHouse Sundays, November 14, 2010: photographer Vincent Cianni.

Vincent Cianni -- documentary photographer and author of We Skate Hardcore -- will be presenting his new project, ‘Gays in the Military: How America Thanked Me’, which explores how the lives of many gay and lesbian service members have been affected by homophobia in the military, and by the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy.

For the past year, Cianni has been photographing and interviewing veterans and active duty personnel, from a 91-year-old World War II vet to recent enlistees.

Join him as he presents this incredibly topical and important work, in the delightful and stunning setting of the powerHouse arena in DUMBO.
