Tailor in the neighborhood?

By far the best is Teo @ BRIDGE CLEANERS

I miss Armando's on Smith Street. Alas.
After years of going to Armando's, my wife got referred to Object Custom Tailors at 68 Bond St, near State Street, and liked them a lot. As opposed to most of the others, they just do tailoring, and they have real expertise, the old-style. They were covered in a Time Out article about the best tailors in NYC: http://newyork.timeout.com/articles/shopping/85591/the-best-tailors-in-nyc.
If you need closer to CG, there's Hong Kong Custom Tailors on Court Street near Douglas Street, but I wasn't that impressed when I went there once. Probably fine for basics.
Noble Dry Cleaners and Tailors across the street (Court near Douglas) was covered in the Time Out article, though I haven't tried them so can't vouch one way or the other.
Bridge Cleaners and Tailors, on Livingston between Court and Smith (in the Heights) is also cited in the Time Out article, but I've seen mediocre comments online and criticism that it's expensive.
Howdy, Stranger!
