Metal Piercing, Metalsmith Intro

Explore the creativity of working with brass to create a metal pendant necklace. This is an introductory step into the age-old art of metalsmithing, students will learn design, cut, file and sand metal, forming it into a basic shape of their choice to create a unique piece. Finally students will apply a piercing technique to the metal to give it an interesting and decorative look.

Finishing it off with a chain and closure and end off with a wearable piece of art to keep for yourself or to give as a gift.
