on a lighter note.... Food Delivery in North Crown Heights

So on a night like tonight, all I really wanted was Cataldo's penne alla vodka delivered to my doorstep but they don't deliver to Brooklyn Avenue.

You know who does? Koto Sushi on Flatbush in Prospect Heights -- and it is delish.

But I am tired of ordering sushi...I want to mix things up a bit. Any other tips on who delivers to northern Crown Heights? Maybe unexpectedly so? Good restaurants only, of course. Send in your tips!

Not sure if they would, but Chavella's is my favorite take-out followed by the new Indian place, Sapid, on Washington.

Chavella's won't deliver that far. They barely want to cross Bedford Ave.

The best way to go about finding places that deliver in your area is to contact the food places along the major streets. Grubhub, seamless, and delivery.com all miss a number of restaurants that deliver.

Syd's Serious Sandwich Shop on Nostrand bet. Lincoln Place and St. Johns now delivers.

Get the Philly chicken sandwich with everything!

Also Udom Thai on Washington & St. Marks / Spicy Basil Noodle with chicken is Good.

Fulton Thai delivers to Bedford and maybe even farther. A restaurant named Born (also a Thai place) thats on Flatbush delivers up to Franklin. Sakura Tokyo on Franklin also has a wide delivery radius. Most of the places along Nostrand deliver but they dont always have delivery people available though I am sure that Syd's sandwhich shop delivers. Thats all I have for now.

I was horribly disappointed in Born. I found the flavors lacking entirely but if you're really craving thai and you're not picky....

Tate I was hungry and my pad thai was TASTY. Also I am not from the school of super spicy Thai food. Well spiced and flavorful-yes; singe my taste buds- no.

It's good to hear that you liked it. I tried it when the place first opened, maybe they've worked out kinks. I used to walk by all the time and think how nice it looked inside.

I would imagine the Thai place on Franklin -- Sweet Basil -- would deliver further into Crown Heights too.
