Due to the fact that snow is now starting to melt and re freeze and the paltry amount of salt that has been spread is starting to go into the sewers and manholes please be careful when walking your canine friends. Each year several wires around the city burn out and make the metal grates electrically charged and people or pets are hurt or killed as a result of electric shock. Please be wary of this.
Also dont forget to carry something to wipe rock salt off pets paws as that also burns their paws
