Please donate that old digital camera for kids at school
I am writing on behalf of the Lefferts Gardens Charter School. This is a new community school which boasts a unique environmental science program that gets students out of the classroom and into the park, Audubon Center, Prospect Park Zoo and Brooklyn Botanic Garden once per week for almost the entire school year.
We are severely short of working digital cameras. Do you have an old 4 megapixel, 2 megapixel (or even less) digital camera collecting dust in your closet? Is it not worth even your time to put on eBay?
Instead, please donate it to us. Our kids will use the cameras to document their studies and collect evidence on their field trips.
If you are interested, please respond to this message or email me at sethplg AT yahoo.com Any donations to the school are tax-deductible.
And thanks!
