Brooklyn Prospect Heights' boundaries expand

(The Wall Street Journal) -- New condominium developments are pushing the boundary of Brooklyn's Prospect Heights, an in-between neighborhood of pre-World War II brick apartments and brownstones on the north side, eastward into Crown Heights, which has been viewed as a grittier part of Brooklyn although it is near to brownstone Brooklyn. The merging of the two neighborhoods has realtors and developers coining a new name for the area, ProCro, an area where you can find million-dollar condos, sleek wine bars along with rent-controlled buildings and bodegas with graffiti.
