New PLG Arts Mural on Fenimore Street—Volunteers Needed to Help with Priming

We’ll soon have a new PLG Arts Mural on Fenimore Street, just east of Flatbush Avenue, across from 65 Fen. Eight of the Artists who participated in our previous project, on the construction fence on Lincoln Road and Flatbush Avenue will create

art here starting on April 2nd, but before that we have to prepare the wall.

The date for priming will be next Wednesday, March 30th, starting at 10 AM. Bring your rollers, roller pans, and broom stick/roller extensions. We’ll provide roller covers. We should be able to finish priming the masonry wall in a few hours. The rainh date {dates?] will be March 31st and April 1st. .

Reminder--we'll be priming the wall tomorrow--anyone who wants to help will be VERY welcome.

The Fenimore Street walls are primed! Many thanks to Nazmin, Carmen, and Danijel for their help; the four of us got it done in record time this morning.

Our artists will start painting their panels on Saturday morning and will continue on Sunday. The mural will be on the south sider of Fenimore Street, just east of Flatbush Avenue, across from 65 Fen, the wine store.
