Thirstbaravin on Classon and Pacific was Amazing !
I must say that I was skeptical. I mean this is an awkward section of Crown Heights, not very pretty nor featuring much foot traffic. But we thought we would make a go of it and try it out. Boy were we in for a treat. Thirstbaravin is the kind of place you would expect in the nicer parts of the E Village circa 2001. It had that feel. Very high quality food and obviously excellent selection of wines. We had the osso bucco and it was heavenly. The pate -extraordinaire ! The cheese in lieu of sweet dessert was a nice polish. I loved the Serge Gainsbourg-Francoise Hardy-Brigitte Bardot (the low key songs of BB) vibe too. And in Crown Heights since December and I had no clue ! Welcome to the neighborhood. I will be back soon.
