Financial Advisor in the Slope?

My SO and I are looking for a financial advisor to help make sure we're on track for retirement, mid-term goals, etc. Any recommendations in the Slope?

  • I highly recommend Robert Goodman at Edward Jones on 7th Avenue. Very nice guy, super experienced, knows his stuff!

  • I recommend a woman I know in Bay Ridge. She is smart and worth talking too. Her name is Cristina and her contact info is on her company Facebook page

  • Whoever you talk to, I would recommend making certain that they are a truly INDEPENDENT FA working on a FEE-BASED model. Of course they should have good experience and references as well. Apologies if you already know this, but I constantly run across people who don't do their homework before choosing an advisor. It really pays to educate yourself as much as possible in this area. Good luck!
