Verizon Vs. Cablevision

We don't have Fios where we are yet, so couldn't tell ya.
Are you north or south of EP? I'm south, and I'm pretty sure we're still S.O.L over here.

I know people who swear by Fios and I know a few who switched back to Cablevision. Fios has a better channel guide and switches channels quicker whereas Cablevision takes a second or two to switch channels after you hit the remote. As for picture, it probably depends more on your set. But Fios does offer that one room DVR that Cable doesn't have. Price make really help you to make the decision so find out what they will cost AFTER your first year is up. Personally, I've had Cablevision for years and won't make the switch but if you go with Fios I'd like to say thank you as I own stock in Verizon.
