Best places to leave or post business cards

Hey, I'm on a bit of a roll starting topics in 24 hours, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of the best (or at all) places to leave or post business cards in the Slope (and/or WT & GH). I just got new business cards printed for myself as a freelance web designer and I wanted to go around to places that have bulletin boards and whatnot to leave them. Thanks!

[also, as I am clearly seeking new clients, if you need or know of anyone who needs web design, I'm your girl and I would love to hear from you via PM.]

  • Hey, I'd love to know good places to post, too - just opened a salon and am looking for local stylists. If you get a master list, would you forward? I can tell you a coupla places in the meanwhile -- naidre's, the Mexican place on 7th ave bw 9th and 10th st, the bubble tea place on the corner of 7th ave and 10th st....

    Good luck!

  • good question, i'd like to know more about those bulletin boards as well. (I am a female personal trainer)

  • If you're that Interested in procuring business from those neighborhoods why don't you visit them and simply walk around and check out every suitable looking coffee shop/cafe/store etc? It would barely take you a day to do all three neighborhoods.

  • I do plan to do that, but in case I missed anything it is nice to compile a list ahead of time. And I do plan to report back on all the places I put my cards for others to do, too.
