Free Jazz Show 7/28 in Williamsburg

TOMORROW NIGHT: FREE JAZZ SHOW IN WILLIAMSBURG

Brooklyn Jazz Rebellion - Free Show

Thursday, July 28

6-7pm

East River State Park, Williamsburg

Kent Ave. between North 8th and 9th Streets (L train to Bedford Ave.)

The Brooklyn Jazz Rebellion is a 19-piece big band out of Williamsburg, comprised of professional players from around the NYC area. Members of our band have toured around the world, and performed at venues such as 55 Bar, the Jazz Standard, the Glastonbury Festival and the Montreal Jazz Festival. We are playing an outdoor concert in beautiful East River State Park, on the East River in Williamsburg. From 6-7pm the band is playing heavy-hitting jazz by Count Basie, Gordon Goodwin, Maynard Ferguson, Buddy Rich, the Seatbelts, and more.

Admission is FREE. This concert is part of the Summer Stars live music series in conjunction with Town Square Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the cultural landscape of the Williamsburg/Greenpoint area. Come down to the park with a blanket, a lawn chair, your dog and a cooler, and listen to some hot jazz while the temperature cools off and the sun sets behind Manhattan.
