Dumplings and Things

I've been to Dumplings and Things a couple of times now and I give it a big thumbs up. Solid food, great variety of little dishes, great prices and the people are really nice.

The dumplings aren't the best I've ever had, but they're the best in the neighborhood. They have a small menu with a nice variety of other offerings. The cold noodles with sesame sauce were a real standout for me. Dark noodles, served cold (instead of room temperature) and a tasty, thin sauce. I've also had the pork belly buns which were fantastic.

I've always left stuffed and happy for under $10; including a drink.

They're on Fifth Ave between 5th and 6th Streets. Unfortunately, they don't deliver yet.

  • I agree. I love that place. Hope it stays around for a very long time.

  • Totally solid.

  • it's ok, and the price is right, but if doing takeout, i recommend checking your order before leaving. they've messed up my order nearly every time i've been there.

  • dumplings are good and the pork belly bun is delicious, but the noodles in sesame sauce are made with soba, and the sauce is underwhelming, IMO.
