Help wih sports camp for 4yo

Hello,

I have a 4yo. boy. His regular camp is finished now. My partner and I have been searching for some kind of sports activity/sports camp for August.

We enrolled him at Super Soccer Stars at PS282. Today was his first day and it was terrible. They used to have the big gym but now they have been sent to the cafeteria in the basement, without AC. We also were surprised seeing whatever is going on in the rest of the school building requires a policewoman presence at the door. This was never the case for the past two summers.

We are withdrawing the kid.

Any suggestion for a similar sports program/camp with sports activities? Thanks in advance!

I get quite a few e-mails about different sports programs at Ft. Greene Sports. I am not sure how their programs work but they seem to play everything from basketball to tennis. Good luck.

In addition, I think AYSO and St Francis Xavier have summer sports programs for little kids.

Hope this helps.

PS You may want to check as to why there was a policewoman present. Some of the NYC schools regulations may require it if there is testing for summerschool, etc. It may not be an every day occurance.
