Free new films from Ghana and Senegal, tonight at LaunchPad

Tonight Kings County Cinema Society is once again taking over Brooklyn LaunchPad, at 721 Franklin Ave @ Park Pl.

Brooklyn premiere of the brand new doc BIKELORDZ, about BMX bike culture in Accra, Ghana. Plus the short film/music video NATIVE SUN from musician Blitz the Ambassador, featuring music from the upcoming album of the same name. Finally: BADOU BOY, 1970 Senegalese classic. Total program 90minutes.

Also: to start off, local photographer Anderson Zaca will present his kickstarter campaign for Block Party: Soul of Summer, a photo project that documents and celebrates Brooklyn's block party culture. Check it out:
