A note to food trucks/carts
I was at the dog run on 18th street between 6th and 7th ave tonight from 5:15-7:30ish, and about 40 dogs and their owners (some are couples and some owners bring their friends, too) passed through during that time, not to mention the people walking by on the sidewalk who were not dog owners. This is pretty typical for a Friday night, and between those hours on any weekday there are about 20-30 dogs in all, too. I know it's kind of hard to bring food around dogs, but any food truck or cart that sells beverages and/or food on a stick might do really well to be nearby. If people know a truck is there consistently, they'll probably bring money (though people may not be prepared the first few times, I don't usually bring cash when I go). There's still a bit of time before it gets dark too early or is too cold.
Anyway just thought someone outta move in on that area or at least on the corner of 7th and 18th. Gets a ton of foot traffic.
