yummy snacks at M and S, Baluchi's and some latin place across from JJ Byrne. Was too cold for margheritas but Peppinos had free slices and $11 bottles of wine. The Opera on Tap at Peppinos was nice, although the second singer was meh. BUT when we went to TIMBOOs the opera was just wierd. Hello? Dive bar? One song, OK. 2nd song indulgent, 3rd song, annoying, 4th song when the guy couldn't remember the words? ridic. why opera in a dive bar? And THEN a family came in wanting free beers and shirley temples. The kid and the family sang at least 8 songs including a Journey song and Somewhere Over the Rainbow.................. WTF? Don't 6 year olds go to bed early? Who takes their 6 year old out to the dive bar and has a fucking sing a long?
