After preordering witcher 2 etc.. and tons of others. I still haven't played witcher 2 yet and tons of others. After that experience. I'll just wait till games are more mature. Bugs are worked out etc..
I spend probably more money on games than tons of others. but I'll probably wait unless the hype gets to me or goty edition comes out
. which ever comes first. -

Hopefully I will be welcoming my second child into the world on 11/11/11. He's due 11/9/11.
-
that is Day 1 for me. I'm going to get it on one of the consoles because i don't think they have a Mac version?
-

oh yeah
congrats.consoles suck cause of the controllers video might be subpar but controllers and lack of modding sucks even more.
-
friend says i can dual boot my mac and run windows but that's a bit much for a game.
besides i played the last Marrowind game on the Xbox and it was good.
-
off course you can dual boot
, macs run on pc hardware. -
have thought about getting one of those high end gaming laptops. maybe it's time!
-
gaming laptops still sucks ass. also dual boot seems fairly easy from the stuff i read. unless your mac(pc) hardware sucks ass
no point lol. -
I will absoutely be getting this game opening day. And then, much like for the firtst few months Oblivion was out, my wife and I will fight tooth and nail for the controller.
And our young children will go ignored.
-
Gaming laptops are expensive, for what they are... I think that I would look in to the dual-boot option, as AW mentions. Even if you need a new GPU, they're pretty reasonable for one that can play anything under the sun at a res of 1920*1200 or less.
As far as Elder Scrolls... now I'm itching... I'm actually thinking about another play-through of Oblivion. It's been ages, I only played through once, and I like the 'the more you use a skill, the better you get at it' leveling system. That, and I never really did play through the expansion packs.

It is good that you are teaching them that video games were around before them, and should therefore come first.
-
Exactly! They must know their proper place!
-
I'm curious to hear some feedback on the game, but I'm betting that anyone with the game is going to be eyeballs deep in it for a little while longer... anybody?
-
This game is a sore spot with my son and I. After he broke night playing it the first day he is only allowed to have it on the weekend. Let's just say I'm not his favorite person right now
-
So that's one ringing endorsement.
Anybody else? -
Its fantastic.
Oh there are annoying little issues... I've gotten "stuck" behind staircases or something and have been forced to load from a previous save cause I couldn't get out. But the gameplay, storyline, graphics... fantastic.
What kids?
-
I know that it can chew through your time, whether it's extra time or not (sleep?), but what would be your thoughts on only being able to play in one hour snippets? Exercise in frustration?
