This makes no sense to me at all. — Brooklynian

This makes no sense to me at all.

I was in a central American hood in queens. I saw a t mobile ad, with another white girl in pink, in Spanish. it wasn't a Hispanic girl. but another white girl.

Why bother? lol I mean if it was a Hispanic girl sure, but just replace one white girl with another, plus this white girl wasn't too good looking. Must be some white celebrity in a Hispanic country.

  • As you are the target audience, I am sure T Mobile will immediately make an ad that makes more sense to you.

For future reference since you have no idea what you're talking about: lot of South Americans have completely Northern European heritage, or would appear "white" to you.

  • alot of central and south americans who's ruling elites are white but most of the population isn't white at all. this neighbhood is mostly central americans.

majority of latin america isn't, only the elites are, Argentina is the only example where there are alot of europeans.

  • So you're already aware of the errors of assuming a pale skinned person isn't Latino/a.

  • are you aware in Latin America one drop of white ancestor makes you white? lol my point is if you don't know what the hell you talking about please stop. I may not know grammar and folks think I might not know what i'm talking about lol due to that fact, but unlike you I don't talk out of my ass on some things, I say things I'm fairly knowledgeable in.

(being paternalistic, condescending like bg, obviously he is aware lol) brought to you by sarcasm.

  • I'm actually fully aware of the concept of one drop.

Why are you constantly assuming people don't have this incredible racial insight that you do?

Don't be so defensive. I don't care about your grammar.

I will however respond to your half baked observations that are completely preoccupied with race.

  • Can I be the one who draws a reference the lost blue hat in Park Slope?

  • bg you turn everything into something else. I was just merely talking about a bloody ad in some central american neighborhood in queens. how pointless it was. and damn you turn it into something completely something else.

    just for bg.

not gonna be trolled into some discussion with you any more lol.

  • Right, you post your brilliant insights, and then walk away when anybody presses you to actually speak on the subject.

Perhaps DISCUSSION boards aren't the place for you.

  • dude you been a huge troll on all most post. I tried to discuss it civilly, and logically etc.. I don't know how else to say it.

  • sorry, where was I uncivil or doing anything you haven't done?

  • I'm gonna stick to it.

  • No examples of me being uncivil huh?

Unable to defend your comments yet again? Time to quit?

It's easier to post press clippings and half baked racial observations, then refuse to explain your logic as soon as someone presses you about it.

Again, DISCUSSION boards probably aren't the right place for you. I think what you need is a blog. Then you don't have to engage with anyone.

  • you are right you won.

I think the hat becomes a boy's or a girl's hat, only after it is place on a boy's or girl's head.

...before that, it has the potential to be the source of aggravation to some people, and a source of great entertainment to me!
