Facets Jewelers--Honest or Not?

Some friends and I had a recent experience that left us wary of making a purchase here. Is this place on the up and up? Our shared concern might be due to misreading on our part.

  • If this is the place next to Connecticutt Muffin, no! After losing quite a bit of weight, I brought 5 watches in to them to have about 3 links removed from each band. They charged me $20 a watch for that!!!!! I will never be back

  • femmedada, I sent you a private message. Bottom line is, sounds like you are not alone in having a bad experience there.

  • Let's rip them a new asshole right here on this board.

The less specific the claims of abuse the better...

Let's bring this shit hole down - that would be a great location for a Bank of America.

  • Wow, DR. Are you getting enough fiber?

This question and the answers about a local business seem entirely reasonable on a community message board. What's the problem?

  • The tone of this post suggest that they aren't an honest shop....

Where is the evidence that they aren't?

  • DR, either you own the shop or you are being purposefully obtuse. The OP asked about others' experiences.

Other members have offered their experiences in response to the query.

That's exactly what the internet is for (I understand you think it's just for snark, but not everyone agrees with you).

    What!?!?!?!????

Pretty sure the internet is for only three things:

    1) Porn

    2) Pics of cats

    3) Stalking

Any other use is just an extension of those three things. In this case, and in the case of every other thread on this board, we are dealing with a bad case of message board masturbation (Item #1 from above)

  • Price of gold near $2000 and an ounce. Wow!

  • the name of the store next to the muffin ship is "treasures." i bought a ring there and had a problem with it..and they they were very good about replacing it.

i have no comment about 'facets'

  • DR..Based on your presence here and your erudite comment I can only conclude that you are a good Masturbator

p.s. I now get ready for attack on an old lady....but I couldn't keep quiet with the troll presence and that of DR who is a valued contributor.

  • OOps, sorry then! The place I had an issue with is the one next to Connecticut Muffin, I know nothing about the other place. Though, I was under the impression they were owned by the same people??
