St. Marks and the lovely Classon — Brooklynian

St. Marks and the lovely Classon

Hey all!

As a total newbie to the hood I was hoping someone may be able to shed a little light on what type of block/area this is.

I'm moving in a few weeks and I've hung around for awhile to get a feel but clearly natives know it better :)

Originally from BK but not this area so any tips?

Much appreciated, all you beautiful folk!

  • It's gettin' better all the time... but that doesn't mean that liberal doses of common sense don't have their place.
  • i could see your block like from my place. but hehe i have to squint a bit. the area looks lonely from my house to your block.
  • Well, then, feel free to stop on by.
It is a little vacant (I'm sure it's a different story when that school lets out), but there are two new buildings going up there (including me) so it should soon be hoppin.

Word is the top floor is two New York Times editors.
