1 HUGE unfurnished bedroom plus attached side office/storage room available for rent OCTOBER 1 in Bed Stuy. Room is located in one-bedroom apartment on the top floor of a 3-unit building. There will be no living room space in this apartment, as I use that room for a bedroom. You would have your own private entrance directly into your bedroom from the building hallway. The other tenants in the building are very private and quiet.

The available room has two large windows, pine hardwood floors, and has enough room to fit bed and a sofa if you so desire. The side room/office contains your clothes closet, but the space can additionally be used as an office or a large storage room. It also has a window.

The apartment is recently renovated, with a beautiful kitchen and bathroom with skylight. Stainless steel appliances and granite countertops in kitchen. We would share kitchen & bathroom.

The main thing about this apartment is you will have to walk thru my room, the living room, to get to the kitchen. THEREFORE I am asking for a tenant who does not cook too much or spend too much time in the kitchen. I have a privacy curtain dividing my room from the kitchen. Due to the privacy issue I would prefer a female roommate.

The $800 rent includes ALL utilities-- heat/hot water, gas, electric, and basic cable/internet/wifi. Deposit of $800 REQUIRED by the landlord, who lives in the building next door. PROOF OF INCOME IS REQUIRED - LAST 2 PAYSTUBS. Small Pet OK, no cigarette smokers.

A little about me: a 30-something SBF working a sales job, 9-5. Quiet, private, no parties, a few friends over now and then. I am seeking a person with a similar personality type & lifestyle.

A description of the area: near A/C train at Nostrand Ave., G train at Bedford/Nostrand, near bus lines B44, B52, B26, B25. Grocery & laundry within one or two blocks. Cafes, restaurants, bars, banks, drug stores, health food stores, etc. located nearby also. EASY ACCESS TO PRATT.
