Brownstone renewal work. — Brooklynian

Brownstone renewal work.

burns
edited November -1 in Park Slope

We are contemplating a Brownstone renovation project. General facade work (cleaning and repairs) and specific repairs dealing with water seeping into walls.

Brownstoner has like 50 companies, any recommendations from past experiences?

Our architect said the work on our brownstone (which was redone just before selling by the previous owner) looks as good as it can get and so it must have been done by "the spaniards". Sadly we can't contact the former owners about anything--they moved long before selling and were never helpful or easy to deal with during the whole buying process. Their attorney just spoke/signed for them. Next time I talk to the architect, I need to remember and ask who he suggests because I'm sure we'll need to do touch-up work at some point.
