Crown Heights Film Festival starts Oct 13th. It is free

Running Oct. 13 through Oct. 16 at Hanne Tierney's FiveMyles Gallery, the festival will feature some 31 films that Marti promises will be as eclectic as the neighborhood, if not more so.

"There is no common thread. The common thread is the eclectics," Marti said. "Our film festival is sort of like a mix tape. Where else are you going to see a visual artist-produced piece on residency, followed by a documentary, followed by an animation followed by a narrative?"
