How is everyone?? Had a busy crazy weekend...

Been busy going to doctors, have been having such pains in my stomach..they scheduled a sonogram to check my ovaries...my ovaries are fine and they could not find anything that would explain the pain, however, they did find a polup on the lining of my uterus, so I have to have it removed November 30th, no big deal.....

Warren - Hope you are feeling Ok. I know you had a scare the other day...please let us know you are ok.

Yikes when I reread my post it sounded like I was going to turn 65 today!!!!!!! I meant it is going to be 65 degrees today....LOL LOL LOL LOL

Judy, 65 aint so bad!!! Thank you girls for the concern. I have to see a different Cardiologist on Friday. I can't even pronounce his specialty but basically he does Ablation of the Heart. They go into an artery in the groin (similar to the Catherization I recently had) and go up INTO your heart Chambers and kill heart cells in the Atrium (upper chambers) and cause dead cells to form a barrier so that blood can not seep down into the lower chambers. That is what causes the A-Fib attacks. My regular Cardiologist feels that he has exhausted all the medications for A-Fib and this Ablation is the ONLY next step. It is a very long operation (5-7 Hours) and I am NOT looking forward to it. There is no Guarantee that it will work and that means if it does not they will have to go in a second time and repeat the process. Am I scared? You bet your bippy I am but it does not look as though I have much of a choice...

Good Morning everyone.....

...Here is Today's News, However Good and/or Bad it may Sound. A story I first heard about on Saturday, but has been played down and under reported, and made me start to think and look into it a little more. I went to various sites on the PC to try and find out more, and this is what I came up with.

...An Asteroid,name yu55,and about the size of a Modern Day Aircraft Carrier or about 1,300 wide, will pass between the Earth and the Moon on Tuesday, Nov.8th,2011...YES,That's Right...Tomorrow. The Moon is about 250,000 miles away from earth, and this asteroid is expected to pass the earth at approximately 200,000 miles or so.

...Now don't get crazy and do anything stupid( like spend all of your money on wine,drugs or fast women or men for that matter) because NASA says "there is nothing to worry about".....Great to hear that bit of good news.......

.............But.................

...suppose somebody miscalculated, and they are off by a degree or 2...do you think they would tell us, ooops we made a mistake,and "everybody get your Turkeys early this year" .... I Don't Think So....But ,anyway, I do believe in NASA and their scientist and engineers , and really don't think there is any reason to sweat this.....but just in case, I have painted a BIG RED BULLSEYE on my roof with the words...PLEASE LAND HERE....LOL

PS....Now I have to go back up on the roof and remove the "Big Red Bullseye".....CRAP!!!

Been have alot of back pain...I started cortisone shot's last month in my back and shoulder. This month the gave me epidural shots in my lower back because I have to 2 pinched nerves on top of arthritis and degenerative disc disease...unless the last 2 are the same I'm not even sure...lol On top of that my b/p has been high!!! Geez i'm sick of hearing myself...lol

Joe it's definitely the worst!!! I was getting shooting pains down my left leg, at times it was almost numb :x So far it feels somewhat better...we'll see when I go back next month.

Hey Patsy,

Hot Dogs & Beans, Fish Cakes & Franco American Spaghetti, Sounds like when I was growing up. Toast on th coal stove for breakfast, Soup simmering all day on the coal stove. Home made soup, good bread and Lambrechts butter. What meals. They were fit for KINGS & Queens. During WWII you could not get canned beans and my mother made them from scratch after soaking the beans over night.. Funny thing, to avoid too much salt in my food, Carol makes me home made beans in the crock pot now. They are delicious...

Tomorrow I find out what is to be done with my heart. I hope I get some good answers to my questions. :roll:

I had 3 herniated discs & bone spurs in my neck..had surgery for it back in 2009..so I know your pain..had a 3 day weekend but I'm so busy in work I have to go in tomorrow...had the first snow today..it's going down to 25 tonight...good night everyone..hope u have a great weekend...bye

BED WITH HATS & GLOVES & 3 IN A BED..BUT ALL IN ALL, THANK GOD, WE GREW UP HEALTHY!! MY GRANDMOTHER WOULD LAY ORANGE SKINE OR TAMGERINE SKINS ON THE COAL STOVE & IT MADE THE HOUSE SMELL SO NICE.. THOSE WERE THE DAYS, MY FRIEND.

So glad you all enjoy the photos....

Today we Honor our Soldiers-past & present.

GOD Bless you all and THANK YOU for your Sacrifice.

When I was a teenager in the late 60's, the Vietnam War was going on. Most people did not feel proud of our military and treated our returning Soldiers with disrespect with things like calling them "baby killers" and guilty of murder and war crimes. I remember praying and hoping that I would not get drafted and be "forced " to serve in the Army. BOY,looking back,I could not have been more wrong.

Now, My regret is not serving for my country when I had the chance. As I got older, I realized that there is no greater honor for a person to stand up and give back in someway to this great nation.

Today, I have such a great respect for those who VOLUNTEER to leave their homes and families and love ones, to serve and give back to America and to all of us.

AGAIN.....THANK YOU AND MAY GOD ALWAYS BE BY YOUR SIDE.
