Storytelling at Bar Sepia: Tonight, Monday Oct 17th

Back by my own accord!

I am pleased to inform you that Bar Sepia (located at Lincoln and Underhill) has a storytelling event once a month, and --for the second month in a row, I will be telling a story this evening: Monday, October 17th.

The title of the story I will tell this month is "Taco Bell".

Bar Sepia is a small venue, capable of comfortably hosting a total of about 30 people for such events.

It is not known how many other story tellers will show up tonight, but last month's event had four storytellers and about 20 people in attendance.

This event is "very low key". It begins at approximately at 8 PM, or when the first person gets up their nerve to start telling their story. It ends at approximately 10 PM, or when the last story has been told.

It is held on the slowest day of the week: Monday!

If you wanted to, you could probably tell a story :)

About 10 people I knew came last time.

Comments

  • In theory I really want to come. In reality, come Monday night, I want to put my feet up and thinking of making dinner maxes out my ability to get up.

The joy of having such a part-time job is it won't last that long, so maybe later in the year I'll not use up all my energy during the day.

Is it planned to continue these nights for a while?

  • It costs Sepia no money to host these events, and Delisa sells more beverages than she otherwise would.

So, I think it is safe to assume that organized Storytelling will take place as long as customers have organized stories to tell.
