Advice from 5th /7th Ave folk for us on 4th Ave following in your footsteps!
I also remember when 5th Ave was a back street and 7th Ave was where all the action was. Now I live just off 4th Ave and as bars and restaurants start opening at a speedy rate I can see our Ave going the same way.
I'm addressing question to any of you who live off 5th Ave or any Ave thats experienced sudden growth close to a quiet street who have had to adapt the increased noise pollution.
I live on Bergen, just off 4th ( I'm at the back but a few yards from 4th. So far the bars close by don't bother me ), The Nets stadium is materializing a block and a half away and a beer hall ( no outdoor space thank god ) is opening backing onto our property.
We are about to get new windows installed. Is it worth paying double the price for soundproof glass ( baring in mind we have window ACS )??
Whats your experience?
