A motorcycle builder, leather craftsman, metalsmith, knife maker, and inventor, Paul Cox is above all, an artist.

Famous for building custom bikes, both through his business partnerships and later through his own company, Cox has been instrumental in New York City’s motorcycle scene for the past twenty years.

Paul’s natural mechanical intuition, his skill as a welder and fabricator, and his careful attention to detail led him to creating this exquisite collection of handmade knives. The knives are combinations of mechanical and organic influences combining diverse materials such as stainless and fine Damascus steel with exotic woods and fossilized Wooly Mammoth tusk.

Paul’s work is highly sought after and is included in many private collections. He painstakingly produces everything he does himself by hand. Paul’s work relates to both the industrial past, but also further into the history of American art and craft using techniques that are centuries old but still relevant in the production of these amazing contemporary objects.
