Berm Cleaning this Saturday Leaf Drop!

Friends of the Berms will gather this Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10:00-Noon for our last event of 2011. Please mark your calendar and join us for our monthly clean-up and beautification of our Plaza Street parks. All hands are welcome - adults and supervised children, experienced or not. Come and bring a friend, or make a friend.

We'll meet at our usual spot - corner of Plaza St & Vanderbilt Ave. - and then move to the day's work area. Please try to arrive by 10:00 so we don't miss you! Gloves and tools are provided.

Whether or not you can attend, you can help spread the word. Please:

* Print the attached flyer and post it in your building lobby, elevator, laundry room

* Forward the email or flyer to neighborhood list serves and bulletin boards (copy and paste this post)

* Tell a friend or neighbor about Friends of the Berms

And the Prospect Heights Community Farm will be accepting bags of leaves for shredding on 11/20 from 10 to 2 and 12/4 from 10 to 2. Do not let the leaves become landfill!

And please be on the look out for our Christmas Tree Collection Dates!
