We are looking for a reliable door bell repair person/company. Will need an estimate. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  • If its just doorbell, you can a cheap wireless one at a hardware store or home depot...probably a lot cheaper than repairing a wired doorbell. If it has a door release function, it might be tougher to replace wirelessly.

  • We've had several brands of the wireless one and they are very unreliable, at least for us. Our button is completely outside and seems pretty sensitive to water/humidity and just doesn't work about 1/2 the time (luckily we have a "dog bell" that is more reliable--he barks when someone is near the door. We're going to wired when we have an electrician and handman here to do other things.

  • Go with Antonio Ceriello Electric Inc (718) 797-3757. A bit pricey, sometimes a bit slow, but they get the job done and do it well.
