Winter Vegetable CSA

The Full Plate Farm Collective is starting a Winter Vegetable CSA @ 69 9th St in Gowanus at the BIG!NYC warehouse.

The share will consist of a pre-packed 1/2 bushel box of vegetables. The CSA goes from January 12th and deliveries are made other week for a total of 5 distributions for $160. Shares can be picked up within the week during BIG! store hours. A typical share consists of 8 lbs of root vegetables (2 lbs potatoes, 2 lbs carrots, 2lbs onions, 2 lbs other random root vegetable-beets, turnips, rutabaga, watermelon radishes, etc.), 2 bunches of cooking greens, 1-2 items such as brussels sprouts, cabbage, kohlrabi, napa cabbage, and one high value item such as salad mix, baby spinach, pickled vegetables, apples, frozen green beans. All of these items are certified organic.
