edited November -1 in Listings

Join us as we perform an eclectic mix of music from many periods, genres, and peoples.

We open with choruses and arias from Hayden's Creation, followed by pieces from Eastern and Northern Europe and Israel. After intermission we turn to the New World, beginning with Robert Convery's "Search", a setting of a Langston Hughes' poem, "All life is but the climbing of a hill". We follow this with a medley of upbeat folk and piano bench songs. To conclude, the baritone voice of our conductor Ira Spaulding joins the chorus in a group of Negro Spirituals.
