Need professional errand/concierge service

Does anyone know a good, reliable errand service that covers Park Slope as well as lower manhattan? I have a friend currently in a post-operative rehab who could use someone to do minor errands and shopping while he's out of commission (and when he returns home to his apt) and I just don't have the time to be a messenger service for him. . .nor do the rest of his friends. I'm looking for one of those services that he can use for, say $25 an hour + expenses. What I don't want is a service where you have to post a request and then wait for a bunch of people to contact you, such as taskrabbit. We need a service where there's a person that can be called upon directly.

Any ideas? Thanks! The stir-crazy patient is driving us all crazy!
