Brooklyn, NY: Roulette presents DANCEroulette, a five night festival of performing artists working within movement, sound, spatial design, visual cacophony, choreography, improvisation, ephemeriality, and theatrical re-imagining. These 15 New York-based dance artists arrive at dance and performance through various points of view, and each evening will host three performances of diverse results. Roulette has presented dance since it's earliest days, and is happy to offer artists a larger space to present their work. Viewing dance in the context of a music venue confronts the way we watch music and listen to movement, the similarities and differences of the forms.
