TV With Your Coffee?

Heights Coffee now has two TVs! YUCK! I go to coffee shops to get away from my TV! Coffee shops are for newspapers, books, laptops, chatting with friends, people-watching, etc. Plus they play music and the TV at the same time, so you can't hear either one!

Let's hear some opinions please, and then I will deliver this thread to Heights Coffee...

on one hand I have no problem with it - it's their place and allows them to have events like World Cup watching parties. on the other hand, I don't go there so I could give a rat's ass what they do. you, as a patron, may have more say than me.

Agreed. The TV isn't why I don't like that place.
