Family Seeking New Home for Well-Rounded, Loving Nanny
Our lovely nanny, Sheryl, is looking for a full time position starting as soon as possible. After long contemplation I've decided to return to school this summer and will be using the daycare at my college, so now we are proactively trying to find her a new family to care for before June. We found Sheryl through a mutual friend last October and she has been with us caring for our son (14 mos. now) since then. She has more than 12 years of experience caring for infants and toddlers, in addition to raising her two daughters and son as a single mother.
Sheryl is a creative, unconventional and fun-loving nanny that doesn't shy away from getting hands-on and active. When our son and her are at home, they sing songs, play with building blocks, read books, and dance together. She takes our son to his playgroup once a week and fills the rest of the week with activities, such as going to the park, playgrounds and the children's museum. She always keeps us updated with photos of both of them during their activities, which makes the day at work go by easier.
Sheryl treats our son as her own child, is very protective of him and always goes beyond what is required of her. She's emotionally very in tune with our son and I can vouch for her attentive and motherly nature. She was also crucial during the weaning process, which was very hard on me as a first time mother, but she guided us with her own experience to make the transition much smoother than we had envisioned.
We feel lucky to have been able to enjoy the wonderful, albeit short time with Sheryl, as she's been so kind and such a blessing to our son. We know he will miss her as much as and even more than we will, however we can't afford paying for full-time school and a full-time nanny. We hope to find Sheryl a loving family, that will appreciate her as much as we do.
To reach Sheryl and for more references, contact her directly at (347) 499-5836 or you can PM me for more info on her time with us.
Warm regards,
Christina
