DOCa Rioja and The Winey Neighbor cordially invites you to our tasting events “Spring Fling with 3 New Riojas”. The free event features Rioja wines and food pairing provided by region expert Aaron Gordon and renowned chef Jill Paradiso. Join them for tastes of Riojan wine and perfectly paired tapas courtesy of Vibrant Rioja.

Also all customers can enter to win a mixed case of Rioja wine and a wine dinner for two. The event is free and open to public.

About Aaron Gordon- Rioja wine expert:

Aaron Gordon is a mixologist and wine lover from Philadelphia and now residing in Brooklyn,NY. He represents every wine from DOCa Rioja, Spain imported to the Northeast, US and stirs cocktails at The Tippler, NYC. Although only 27 years old, he has over 12 years of experience in hospitality and has worked with and designed beverage programs for restaurants, hotels and bars in Miami,Philadelphia,and NY. His mastery of Rioja wine, genuine love for the trade, and laid back approach make his in-store tastings ones not to be missed.

About chef Jill Paradiso:

Jill Paradiso is a classically trained chef who has worked in the kitchens of Mario Batali and Jean Georges Vongerichten. She has also done recipe development for Martha Stewart, David Rosengarten, Whole Foods Markets, and Dean and Deluca. In addition to her time in the kitchen, Jill has almost a decade of front of the house experience in NY restaurants. For the past five years Jill has worked with Vibrant Rioja, a trade campaign sponsored by the DOCa Rioja wine region. She has traveled the U.S. providing Rioja education to both trade professionals and consumers, has helped to launch large scale integrated retail programs in various US markets, and has drawn on her passion for both food and wine to create a Rioja food pairing guide for consumers: http://www.athomewithrioja.com/
