And I suspect it will be just as popular.

A tipster noted that Beny’s Delice, on Fulton Street and Clinton Avenue, applied for construction permits at 567 Vanderbilt Avenue, between Pacific and Dean. The store manager confirmed the popular grocery/cafe is indeed expanding! It will be a “slightly expanded model” from the original location but will still serve coffee, fresh pastries, sandwiches, and groceries. There will also be wine and beer. Construction is expected to wrap in one month. This stretch of Vanderbilt, which faces the Atlantic Yards construction, is far quieter than its southern counterpart. But we also spotted construction work happening at 581 Vanderbilt, also between Pacific and Dean, so there’s definitely an uptick in commercial activity closer to Atlantic Avenue.
