Help: The age thing for a newly single woman
This is all what if for now...
When I move back to y'alls area anywhere near Prospect Park, where do older women go for a drink? As in over 50? I keep reading about the 20 somethings.
I love live music, dance scene. Of course the truth is I haven't been single in a while and have been raising kids. I am going to enjoy my freedom soon, by god before I fall over! javascript:emoticon(':D')
Very Happy

HA ha ha I am enjoying this list so much. I lived in Brooklyn, and Manhatten over 20 years ago and now that my kids are grown, its time to get back...hopefully by the new year.
Only the internet age could give me such a special pleasure of feeling like I live there, instead of the little backwater I am in. Filling in great gaps in time and bringing back wonderful memories. and (':(')
Anyway one day I decided I would just take a little look see at y'alls profiles, and I couldn't understand why almost every member shared nothing, nada about their personal selves.('')
I am also getting a feeling about the gentrification, didn't even know what that meant, ('')
So I'll go back to lurking, listening, learning from afar ('

It may seem perverse, but I think people actually share less about themselves on this site than on comparable non-local discussion sites because this one is a bit more intertwined with real life. I used to include a lot more, but I deleted it.
Come to Happy Hour sometime and learn more than you'd ever want to about many of us! -

Thank you Emily,
the real life aspect is just what I love, hope to meet you all soon as I can get my house sold!
Till then, warmly,
