Join us in the Forest of Arden to explore one of Shakespeare's most endearing and fabulous tales. Enact scenes from the comedy that includes dueling dukes, plucky princesses, brawling brothers, clever cousins, a court jester and his clownish farmer friends--and even a professional wrestler, a snake, and a lion! Explore using props, costumes, music, comedy improv and stage fighting techniques while preparing a final performance from AS YOU LIKE IT. No previous experience necessary.

Actor, teacher, and director Renee Bucciarelli’s Shakespeare Playground has served hundreds of public, private, and home-schooled Brooklyn school children and been in residency at several Shakespeare companies, including Brooklyn’s Kings County Shakespeare, Shakespeare on the Sound (Connecticut), and the California Shakespeare Theater. The Shakespeare Playground is now based in British Columbia, and Young Actors Workshop is pleased to host Renee’s return to her favorite borough.
