Very local business puts a 10 kw Solar Array on Goldfish Pond Co-op!

Hi all! I'm posting on behalf of a solar installation company I run with my husband out of our co-op on Park and Vanderbilt. We've just completed the largest solar array (according to the NYC Solar Map) in our neighborhood! It's atop the building with the goldfish pond (I'm the super/gardener from that building). This is our 2nd array in the neighborhood and we have another one coming up, but it's our favorite place to live and work, so if you're thinking about solar in Prospect Heights, look us up! We do high quality and cost effective work, mostly because we're a very local small business (we do our admin work out of our studio!)

  • Very cool. I'm curious, did you need a sign off from the LPC for that?

  • We did go through LPC but we also ensured that no part of the array would be visible from the street, which made the sign off process very speedy!
