Heart of Brooklyn Needs VOLUNTEERS….

Below is the volunteer information for HOB'S Saturday's event. Please forward this to those parties who you think may be interested in spreading the word and/or helping us.

This Saturday (June 23), Heart of Brooklyn and WBGO 88.3 are looking for enthusiastic, music-loving volunteers to help out at the annual music series Jazz: Brooklyn's Beat. Join the team at Heart of Brooklyn under the arch at Grand Army Plaza to help out at DJ Felix Hernandez's Rhythm Revue. Volunteers will be meeting at 2pm.

Volunteer activities include: answering questions at the Heart of Brooklyn and partner tables; passing out information to visitors and residents; setting up performance spaces and assisting with breakdown; and photographing events.

Jazz: Brooklyn's Beat, celebrating its fifth year in 2012, is a music series that brings world-class jazz performances to some of Brooklyn's favorite cultural institutions.
