He is neutered, has brown eyes, is medium sized (35 lbs). His name is Diego, but he doesn't answer to his name well. If you chase him, he'll run, but if you offer him treats or pet him, he'll come with you. He is also chipped.

I called Miriam a while ago and said I would cycle around Bergen, St. Mark's and Prospect between Washington and Underhill since I had read on this form that there are a number of empty lots (and posted this info on Brownstoner for her). I zig-zagged my way as far as Vanderbilt and back to Franklin. I think I only went as far Park Place and went up Bedford. No sign unfortunately. But there are a lot of folks out on stoops so hopefully he will approach someone.

It's rare that a lost dog is roaming for long. It seems like around here they get picked up pretty quickly so it's a matter of finding who has the dog usually.

Hope they get him back soon!
