Recent Graduate Residency at Brooklyn Art Space

Our Recent Graduate Residency Program is aimed at helping recent BFA and MFA graduates find a foothold in the art world after leaving school. We provide ten recent graduates with six months of reduced rate membership ($149 per mo), and inclusion in our Introductions exhibition each December. Participants will receive all benefits of the Open Studio membership, including optional participation in two Member Salon exhibitions, monthly critiques, and free figure drawing sessions. Our graduates will give back to the community – and get a peek into the administrative end of the art world – by volunteering in the office or gallery for 4 hours a month.

To be eligible the artist must have graduated within the past two years. BAS accepts applications for the Recent Graduate Residency twice each year.
