Lost Cat in Park Slope--We want Sprinky home!

Have you seen Sprinky? This loved and adored black, cross eyed male cat (who also answers to Sprinks, Captain Sprinkles and many terms of affection) went missing in Park Slope (he lives on President Street between 5th and 6th) on September 10th. If you have seen him, please call Justine at 646.498.8860 or email [email protected]. He has a big group of fans eager to reunite with him.

Thank you!!

  • Do you have a picture you can post? Don't forget to place fliers everywhere including the subway stops.

  • Hey thats weird I just saw a black cat today go under a car on 1st st I've never seen a cat around here before. Didn't really think much of it until I read this.

  • Please post a pic and also put up notices on Tabby Tracker (with pic) and if he has a microchip alert the company, you can usually do this online.

Also contact nearby vets and talk to your neighbors. I would go around with a clear pic of the kitty. Maybe your local shop will let you put up a pic with your contact info in case anyone spots him.

Keep looking, if you kitty is unfamilair with being outside he may hide during the day as its noisy so search early AM and late evenings. Bring a tin of tuns or his fav treats and keep looking. He will prob stay in the area unless he gets scared away.

  • We lost our guy a few years ago on 7th Street, and after combing blocks and blocks it turned out he was in the backyard of the brownstone next door. Be sure to ask neighbors if you can take a look in the backs of nearby buildings.

  • Thanks-he was actually found! I appreciate all the eyes and ears!!

  • Just a quick question here...I see a pretty fair number of posters, etc. for lost cats in the neighborhood. Since we have a couple of cats and don't want to lose them, can someone who has been through the whole "lost cat" unpleasantness tell me how it happened and what not to do so I know what to look out for? I guess we have been pretty lucky so far and I want things to stay that way. Thanks.
