Favorite NFL-watching bars? — Brooklynian

Favorite NFL-watching bars?

Hey all, any of you have any bars you like for watching football? I usually just go to Black Horse Pub but am thinking of branching out, especially considering how many new bars there are in the neighborhood. Doesn't have to be a sporty bar or anything - anywhere with tvs and others who are into the game works for me. Bonus points for good beer selection and snacks. Park Slope proper or South Slope/Greenwood Heights are both great. Even Windsor Terrace. Thanks!

  • I think "200 fifth" would be the obvious spot.

If youre more low key im sure any Irish bar would put it on for you.

  • I think Carriage House - 7th Ave and 8th Street has a lot of sports on all the time.

  • 200 Fifth has a ton of TVs, but also a ton of people.

Dram Shop is a fairly decent option.

Angry Wade's, though not in Park Slope, is pretty good, too.

  • Is Ocean's 8 not good? I went in there a couple of years ago to try and watch a baseball game and it was ear-splitting karaoke night, so I walked right back out.

  • How many kids will you be bringing?

  • How about Pacific Standard, Cherry Tree or High Dive? I'd call ahead and just make sure they are playing it, but all are located around places to get good take out.
