I am a private tutor and former teacher who loves working with children and their parents.

I would like you to think of me not as just a tutor, but as your very own private, in-home teacher. Most classroom teachers are not able to spend one-on-one time with every student. I can. Your child will have my undivided attention and support. No matter what your child may need I am there to create a plan that supports him or her.

You've come to the right place. Together, we will create a plan based on your child's strengths and needs that will help him/her to catch up and feel confident. My goal is to get your child back up on their feet as soon as possible, while feeling more and more excited to learn.

My child is not behind in any subject, why would we need a tutor?

Not behind? That's great! Let's get ahead! Remember, I'm your very own private teacher who is there to create lessons that will challenge your child in any subject. Maybe you would like your child to learn another language, such as Spanish or to explore their creative writing skills. If your child has in interest, then I have the tools to help them explore it!

My child doesn't want to do his/her homework each night and it takes HOURS to complete!

I can help you to create a homework routine and plan so that you and your child not only get through the homework each day but also look forward to doing it together. I also love helping parents create fun, hands-on learning games and homework routines. The goal is for your child to love learning! Let's get there together.

What type of tutoring my child may need?

That's okay! Let's figure it out together. I tutor in a variety of subject areas from reading, writing, and math to study skills and Spanish. I also tutor a variety of ages and grades. I specialize in PreSchool through 2nd grade.
