Gowanus Open Studios this weekend
The 16th annual Gowanus Open Studios will take place October 13th - 14th, 12 - 6PM.
Featuring over 150 artists located throughout Brooklyn’s Gowanus Canal area, visitors to this free event can meet Brooklyn artists within the intimacy of their work spaces.
This annual event encourages the appreciation and practice of art in the broader community by providing an opportunity to speak with artists and gain a firsthand view of art-making. The studios are in industrial buildings, garages, brownstones and warehouses.
Painters, sculptors, jewelers, ceramicists, installation artists, performers, photographers, printmakers, and mixed media artists are all opening their studio doors to the public.
