Call for Exhibition Proposals: Public Perspectives
BHS announces a new exhibition series, Public Perspectives, to be featured in the Independence Community Gallery at the Society. Brooklyn-based individuals, community groups, and school groups are invited to submit exhibition proposals.

Exhibits should be conceptualized around a theme relevant to the BHS mission. Exhibits may involve a historical, social, cultural, intellectual or political focus. During the 2006 season, BHS is particularly interested in exhibits that explore themes of cultural identity and/or Brooklyn’s rich heritage. Submission deadline: August 31.
